Well, I applied for an art school again. And I were rejected again. Funny thing is that I’ve been accepted to this school once before, but I declined then because I were already at another school at the time… It’s kind of like with women I suppose. When you got a girlfriend, other women want you. But when you are alone, no one’s interested. ;)

Anyway, I’ve decided that this is it for me and art-schools. I will find my way on my own, and if that will be within art or something else. Only time will tell. I’m still working hard on Doom3 Phobos though. And when (if) we finish it, I believe that I shouldn’t have any problems getting employment in the game industry. But we’ve been working long for this mod, and motivation is fading. It was never “my kind of project” to work on really. I’ve always preferred to create my own worlds, as opposed to build on something already established. But that doesn’t mean I don’t like the mod or don’t have faith in it. Merely that I don’t feel as at home in it than I would’ve with something that I had designed from scratch myself. (I suppose that’s only logical though)

I would’ve put some drawings up for this update, but I don’t have my latest work with me, and even if I did. I couldn’t be arsed to install this inane scanner I got. I really need a new one, but if I want one of any reasonable quality. I better be prepared to shell out some serious money.

I started working on getting the different galleries up, but the scanner left a lot to be desired, and all the drawings I scanned with it, lost the quality of the drawings. Making them look really dull and uninteresting. I’ll get the paintings up soon though I hope. Will have to photograph them anyway.

Will also work on fleshing out more of the different areas in the games section. So far, only Phobia: The age got any worthwhile information.
